We are pleased to announce to our Elk Creek Community that Erin Snyder has taken over as our Chef! Erin brings a wide range of experience to our kitchen and is very excited about adding her creativity and experience to our locally-sourced, Farm-to-Table cuisine.

Erin got her culinary start at the Gamble Mill Tavern, back in the day.  She made a stop at CrÚ in New York before emigrating to The Culinary Institue of America where she earned her degree in Culinary Arts and rose to Sous Chef at the CIA’s Apple Pie Bakery and Café.  A native of Sugar Valley, Ms. Snyder looked to return home and most recently held the position of Chef at Penn State, before landing in Penns Valley.  For which we are truly grateful.

Erin has a passion and a talent for recipe development and menu planning, so expect some delicious new twists with our outstanding lineup of local, organic, and pasture-raised ingredients.  We invite you to stop in to say hey, and to of course, check it out!
